Total Vacancies: 7948 Posts (Multi-Tasking Staff & Havaldar)

Mode of Payment: Fee can be paid online through SBI Challan, Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or other online payment modes available on the SSC portal.

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age for MTS: 25 Years
• Maximum Age for Havaldar: 27 Years

Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government norms:
SC/ST: 5 years | OBC: 3 years | PwD (UR): 10 years | PwD (OBC): 13 years | PwD (SC/ST): 15 years

The selection for SSC MTS & Havaldar posts involves the following stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type online examination.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST): Only for Havaldar posts. Candidates must qualify in the physical tests.

4. Medical Examination: For Havaldar posts only.

• General Intelligence & Reasoning: Analogies, Similarities and Differences, Space visualization, Problem solving, Analysis, Judgment, Decision making, Visual memory, Discrimination, Observation, Relationship concepts, Arithmetical reasoning, Verbal and figure classification, Arithmetical number series, Non-verbal series.
• Numerical Aptitude: Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions, Relationship between numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Time and Work.
• General Awareness: Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General policy & scientific research.

• Admit Card: The SSC MTS Havaldar Admit Card 2026 will be released on the regional SSC websites. Candidates must download it using their Registration ID and Date of Birth/Password. The admit card will contain exam date, shift, venue, and important instructions.
• Result: The result for the Computer Based Test will be declared on the official SSC website. Qualified candidates will be called for PET/PST (for Havaldar) and Document Verification.
