1. Engineering Degree: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) from a University established by law in India or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

2. Alternate Qualification: Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in Civil Engineering, provided the candidate's registration with the Institution of Engineers (India) was completed on or before 31 May 2013.

3. Language Requirement: The candidate must have passed Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject at the Matriculation (Class 10th) level or higher.

4. Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications related to the field.

Reservation will be applicable as per the policy of the Haryana Government for Scheduled Castes (SC), Backward Classes (BC-A & BC-B), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM), and other categories.
