There is no application fee for any category. Candidates can register and apply online free of cost.

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates must clear the running test and meet prescribed physical standards.
• Written Examination (CBT): Objective type test covering General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and General Science/English/Hindi. The exam will be conducted by HSSC.
• Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for verification of original certificates, CET score, and eligibility documents.
• Final Merit: Based on marks obtained in the written examination (PET is qualifying).

Note: The exact pattern and marking scheme may be updated in the official notification. Negative marking (0.25 per wrong answer) is usually applicable.

• General Awareness: Current events (National & International), History, Culture, Geography, Economy, Polity of Haryana, Sports, Awards, etc.
• Reasoning: Analogies, Classification, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Direction Sense, Puzzles, etc.
• Numerical Ability: Simplification, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, Average, Data Interpretation, etc.
• General Science: Basic physics, chemistry, biology, environment.
• English & Hindi: Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, sentence structure.

Admit cards for the written examination will be released on the official HSSC website (hssc.gov.in) before the exam. Candidates must download their admit card using their registration number and date of birth. The result of the written exam will be followed by document verification and final merit list. • Step 2: Click on “New Registration” and fill in basic details (name, mobile, email, etc.). A registration ID and password will be generated.
• Step 3: Log in with the credentials and complete the online application form. Fill personal details, educational qualifications, CET details, and post preference (Male GD/Female GD/GRP).
• Step 4: Upload scanned photograph, signature, and any required documents (as per notification).
• Step 5: Since the application fee is zero, no payment is required. However, candidates must click “Submit” to finalize the application.
• Step 6: After submission, preview the form and ensure all details are correct. Take a printout of the final application form for future reference.
• Note: The re‑open window is only for candidates who missed the original deadline (11–31 Jan 2026). Those who have already applied successfully need not apply again.
