For all three categories (Male, Female, GRP Constable), the essential educational qualification is:

- Nationality: Must be a citizen of India OR a subject of Nepal/Bhutan OR a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01.01.1962 OR a person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries.

Measurement Process: Standard digital measurement devices will be used for a tamper-proof, fair, and impartial process. Candidates will be able to read their measurements on a digital display monitor.
HSSC Constable Selection Process 2026
The recruitment will be a multi-stage process as per the CET Policy and HSSC Rules 2025. The stages are:
- Shortlisting Based on CET Score: HSSC will invite an adequate number of candidates on the basis of merit obtained in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group C.
