3. Nationality & Domicile

  • Nationality: Must be a citizen of India OR a subject of Nepal/Bhutan OR a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01.01.1962 OR a person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries.
  • Domicile/Reservation Benefit: The benefit of reservation (for DSC, OSC, BCA, BCB, EWS, ESM) will be given only to bonafide residents of the State of Haryana. Reserved category candidates belonging to other states will be considered as General category candidates.

Measurement Process: Standard digital measurement devices will be used for a tamper-proof, fair, and impartial process. Candidates will be able to read their measurements on a digital display monitor.

HSSC Constable Selection Process 2026

The recruitment will be a multi-stage process as per the CET Policy and HSSC Rules 2025. The stages are:

  1. Shortlisting Based on CET Score: HSSC will invite an adequate number of candidates on the basis of merit obtained in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group C.
  2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Shortlisted candidates undergo PMT (qualifying). Those who fail are eliminated.
