The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially declared the IBPS SO XV (15th) Final Result 2026 for the Common Recruitment Process for Specialist Officers (CRP SPL-XV). Candidates who appeared for the Online Main Examination and subsequent Interview can now check their final selection status and provisional allotment to participating public sector banks.

The final result, which marks the conclusion of the CRP SPL-XV recruitment drive for vacancies of 2026-27, was released on 15th January 2026. Successful candidates have been provisionally allotted to one of the 12 participating banks for the posts of IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, and Marketing Officer (all Scale I).

The application fee could be paid online from 01.07.2025 to 21.07.2025 using:

• Debit Card (Visa/Rupay/MasterCard/Maestro)

• Internet Banking
• IMPS
• Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets

The payment could also be made through the IBPS Online Kiosk (Cash Payment) at designated bank branches.

I. Nationality / Citizenship: A candidate must be either (i) a Citizen of India, or (ii) a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or (iii) a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, or (iv) a Person of Indian Origin from specified countries. Candidates under (ii), (iii), (iv) must possess a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India.

Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
(Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1995 and not later than 01.07.2005).

The selection for IBPS SO XV involved a three-stage process:

1. Online Preliminary Examination: This was a screening test. Candidates needed to qualify in this exam to be shortlisted for the Main exam.
2. Online Main Examination: This was the main written test for the respective specialist post. Marks from this stage were crucial for final merit.
3. Interview: Candidates shortlisted from the Main exam were called for an Interview conducted by the participating banks. The Interview carried 100 marks.

Final Merit Calculation: The final merit list for provisional allotment was prepared based on the combined scores of the Online Main Examination (80% weightage) and the Interview (20% weightage).

English Language: Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Error Spotting, Para Jumbles, Fill in the blanks, Vocabulary (Synonyms/Antonyms), Phrase Replacement.

Reasoning Ability: Puzzles (Seating Arrangement, Floor-Based), Syllogism, Data Sufficiency, Inequality, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Input-Output, Logical Reasoning.

General Awareness with Banking Focus: Current Affairs (last 6 months), Banking & Financial Awareness, Static GK, Important Government Schemes, Economic News, Banking Terms, RBI policies, Fiscal-Monetary Policies.

• IT Officer: Data Structures, DBMS, Networking, OS, Software Engineering, Web Technologies, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing.
• Agriculture Field Officer: Basics of Agriculture, Horticulture, Soil Science, Animal Husbandry, Agronomy, Agriculture Economics, Farm Management, Recent Schemes.
• Rajbhasha Adhikari: Grammar, Translation, Comprehension, Essay Writing in Hindi & English, Official Language Policy, Glossary Preparation.
• Law Officer: Banking Regulations, SARFAESI Act, Negotiable Instruments Act, Contract Law, Company Law, Cyber Laws, RBI Guidelines.
• HR/Personnel Officer: HRM Processes, Training & Development, Industrial Relations, Labor Laws, Organizational Behavior, Recruitment & Selection.
• Marketing Officer: Marketing Management, Brand Management, Advertising, Sales Management, Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing, Service Marketing.

The call letters for Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview were available for download from the official IBPS website (www.ibps.in) on the notified dates. Candidates had to use their Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth to download the admit card.

The IBPS SO XV Final Result 2026 is the combined result of the Main Examination and Interview. It indicates the provisional allotment of candidates to participating banks.

How to Check the Final Result:

1. Visit the official IBPS result portal or the direct link provided.
2. Click on the link for "CRP SPL-XV Final Result/Combined Result for Online Main Examination & Interview".
3. Enter your Registration Number / Roll Number and Password / Date of Birth.
4. Submit the details. Your final result/scorecard and provisional allotment details will appear on the screen.
5. Download and print the final scorecard for all future reference.

The scorecard displays the marks obtained in the Main Exam and Interview, along with the total weighted score and allotment status.

IBPS decides the minimum cut-off marks for each stage (Prelims, Mains, and Interview) and category. The final cut-off is prepared category-wise and post-wise based on the number of vacancies and the performance of candidates. The official cut-off details for CRP SPL-XV are generally published on the IBPS website along with the final result or at a later date.

The Provisional Allotment is the final step where selected candidates are assigned to one of the participating public sector banks. The allotment is done based on:

• Marks obtained in Main Exam & Interview.
• Candidate's post preference and category.
• Number of vacancies in each bank.
• Reservation guidelines.

After the final result, the provisionally allotted bank will contact the candidate directly regarding the document verification, medical examination, and formal joining process. Candidates must carry all original documents (educational, category, age, experience if any, etc.) for verification.

Selected candidates join the participating bank as a Specialist Officer in Scale I, which is a prestigious managerial cadre position. The approximate starting basic pay is ₹ 48,480/- (with yearly increments). The approximate gross monthly salary, including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Special Allowance, and other perks, can range from ₹ 70,000 to ₹ 85,000 depending on the place of posting.

3. Click on "Click here to Apply Online" and then "New Registration".
4. Register by entering basic details. Note down your Provisional Registration Number and Password.
5. Log in with the generated credentials and fill the detailed application form carefully.
6. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per prescribed format and size.
7. Pay the required application fee online.
8. Submit the application form and download/print a copy for your records.

• For Application & Interview: Recent passport-sized photograph, Scanned signature, Left thumb impression, Handwritten declaration.
• For Verification (if selected): Printout of the online application form, Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport/Driving License), Date of Birth Proof (10th Certificate), Educational Qualification Mark Sheets & Certificates (from Graduation onwards), Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) in prescribed format, Experience Certificate (if required), Ex-Servicemen/Other relevant discharge certificates, Certificate of Eligibility (if applicable).

• The validity of the CRP SPL-XV merit list will be one year from the date of provisional allotment or until a fresh provisional allotment is made.
• Providing false information or documents will lead to disqualification and legal action.
• Allotment to a bank is provisional and subject to fulfilling all eligibility criteria and verification.
