STAGE 1: Preliminary Test (PT) β Objective type screening exam. Qualifying in nature. Marks are not counted for final merit.
STAGE 2: Mains Written Examination β Descriptive type exam. This is the current stage for FRO. The JPSC FRO Mains Admit Card 2026 has been released for the exam on Jan 22-24, 2026.
STAGE 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) β Qualifying walking test as per physical standards.
STAGE 4: Personal Interview β Assessment of personality, communication, and domain knowledge.

Log in using your registered OTR Number / Mobile Number / Email ID and the password or OTP received.
Find and click on the link for "Forest Range Officer β Mains Examination Admit Card".
Your admit card will be displayed on the screen. Verify all details carefully (Name, Roll No, Exam Date, Centre, etc.).
Download the admit card as a PDF and take 2-3 clear printouts on A4 size paper.
Documents to Carry to Exam Centre:
1. Printed copy of JPSC FRO Mains Admit Card 2026.
2. Original Photo ID Proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport).
3. Two recent passport-size photographs (same as application).
4. Preliminary Exam Admit Card or Scorecard (if required).
Without the admit card and original ID, entry will be prohibited.
- Report at the exam centre at least 90 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
- Electronic devices (mobile, smartwatch, calculator) are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
- Follow all COVID-19 safety protocols if issued by the Commission at the time of the exam.
- Any discrepancy in the admit card must be reported to JPSC immediately via their helpdesk.
