For B.Tech:

• Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
• Minimum 60% aggregate marks in PCM (45% for SC/ST candidates).
• Candidates appearing in the 2026 qualifying examination can also apply.

• 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with at least 45% marks.

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.

• B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA).

Admission to all programs at KIIT is based on the following process:

1. KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE): Candidates must appear for the computer-based KIITEE for their desired program.
2. Result & Rank: KIIT will declare the result and prepare a merit list (rank list) based on the scores obtained in KIITEE.
3. Online Counselling & Seat Allotment: Qualified candidates must register for online counselling, fill their choices of programs and campuses, and lock their preferences.
4. Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on the candidate's rank, choices filled, category, and seat availability. Multiple rounds of counselling may be conducted.
5. Document Verification & Fee Payment: Candidates who are allotted a seat must upload their documents for verification and pay the admission fee (first installment) online to confirm their seat.
6. Reporting to Campus: After successful document verification and fee payment, candidates must report to the allotted campus on the specified date to complete the admission formalities.

Direct Admission (Without KIITEE): For some postgraduate programs like MBA, KIIT also accepts national-level scores like CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT. Candidates should check the official website for details.
