AISSEE 2026 Vacancy & Seat Distribution

The total number of seats varies for each Sainik School and is distributed among different categories. The seat matrix is school-specific. Generally, 67% of seats are reserved for students from the state where the school is located, and 33% are for students from other states and Union Territories. Within these, reservations apply as per Government of India norms for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories. AISSEE 2026 Selection Process
  1. Written Entrance Examination: The first stage is the AISSEE 2026 offline exam.

Mathematics (Class 6 & 9):

Class 6 Level: Number System, Basic Arithmetic Operations, LCM & HCF, Fractions, Decimals, Geometry (Basic Shapes, Perimeter, Area), Measurement, Data Handling.
Class 9 Level: Number Systems, Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, Geometry, Mensuration, Statistics & Probability.

Language (English/Hindi for Class 6) & English (for Class 9):

Gates will close 30 minutes before the exam.

AISSEE 2026 Result & Counselling Process

The result of AISSEE 2026 is tentatively scheduled to be declared in February 2026. It will be published on the official website in the form of a merit list (school-wise and category-wise).
